The book can definitely be seen as a progression, the description involved allows to reader to clearly visualise the unfolding scenes, leaving them to linger in the mind after the book has been closed, begging you to abandon what ever it is that you should be doing, gatth return to reading. Can Arthur save it in time?

At least I can tell what I disliked about the books. The book is fun to read, and will have you reading on endlesly unil you finish the chapter.

Arthur ended up winning the competition in the end despite struggling to use the Nixx correctly. He is phsically weak, and gets an asthma attack which proves to be almost fatal. I like books with a lot of description because it allows me to actually picture what the author talks about.

They speak different languages and come from different countries thousands of miles apart, but they do not know that. Arthur is forced to go back to the magical House that is the magical and bureaucratic center of the universe.


Anyone who wants to learn a good life lesson should read this book.

Nix is very deliberate, it seems to me, in present a range of challenges to which Arthur’s initial response is to allow whatever is grkm to determine his fate, only to more-or-less immediately recognise that he has a choice and that he must exercise it in order to achieve desired outcomes. Hopefully the writing will pick up in further works.

You have to know the people and plot of the first book. Arthur is still a little bit irritating, but at the end of the book it sounded like he was starting to get over being chosen as the Heir and resigned gartn to just deal with it. Highly recommended for young boys and girls and a good change of pace.
